Is still good but the quality has decreased compared to before

Spare ribs were very dry and were almost certainly just warmed up from the day before. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was also not as good as one would expect from a Bavarian economy. Unfortunately we were "forgotten" by the waitress for over half an hour. The beer was of course very good, as was the location.

Totally loved visiting this place,food was totally fantastic and the staff very friendly.wounderful surrounding and a fabulous atmosphere.cant wait to visit again.

Convenient place / location and delicious food.

When you are at Tegernsee, a visit to the brewery is a must. The food is really good, only the waitresses are sometimes a little unfriendly. Probably because the customers fill the place up without much effort.

The Bräustüberl is certainly a matter of taste. We liked it. We were served kindly. The order was taken quickly. The food was excellent. Although the shop was packed, we had the feeling that everything was well organized. The prices were very reasonable. € 10.80 for a knuckle with side dishes is certainly not too expensive. However, if you are not into mass processing you should not stop there.

The food was really top class, as you would expect home-style cooking. The portions were big, really for a lot of hunger and still great quality. The operating staff was very friendly and courteous. Top!

The organization in Corona times was great. I had made a reservation, so the paper mess was already done. Everything went very quickly, the portions were large and it tasted good. The sound in the service could be improved and it is very loud in the large hall.

The knuckle was delicious. The service was very friendly. The food came quickly. The price was cheap. There was nothing to complain about here. Highly recommended. Then a short lap around the lake. We would love to come back.

I can only advise everyone in the corner to stop by! The food and beer are delicious! The prices humane!

Good food, great location and super friendly service (really doesn‘t happen often in Bavaria 😉) We went on a weekday and it was perfect - not too crowded. It’s really busy on weekends though. The terrace is great but I personally find the indoor seating area quite dark/gloomy. Definitely worth a visit on a sunny weekday

A typical brewery with good home cooking. The food tasted very good, the service was friendly and we were very satisfied.

Very great restaurant with super nice staff. Food is very good and is served very quickly despite the large number of guests, we had a very nice evening in the Bräustüberl.

We were greeted very friendly by the waitress - Sabine - and immediately brought to a table. The dishes were quickly at the table and very tasty! The service - Sabine was also very friendly and courteous with further orders. This day in the Bräustüberl was a great experience at the Tegernsee !! We would like to come again. Also a compliment to the management.

Excellent large restaurant with an outside terrace and a very good beer. The big, crispy pork knuckles are the absolute hit. Seldom eaten such a tasty knuckle. The cucumber potato salad also tasted first class. The side dishes can also be changed. The menu has many other delicacies to offer, so that more visits will certainly be on the agenda. Large cheap parking lot next door. The Tegernsee ship landing stage is also nearby. Bus stop right in front of the old historical building, so that nothing stands in the way of enjoying beer. Always my pleasure....

Would definitely bring friends and family to this place to try the Bavarian Schweinshaxn dish. If you get a chance to sit outside you get to enjoy the amazing view over lake Tegernsee too. Can definitely recommend!

Food is delicious, but service is awful. Weiteres can't count the order, and charge for non consumed bavarages/things.

Excellent beer and delicious food! We were with 6 people in the Bräustüberl and were completely satisfied. The service was super fast and friendly and the prices are fair. I don't have to say anything about the beer, it couldn't be better. In addition, you probably won't get draft beer anywhere cheaper. The food was delicious and the portions were decent too. We will stop by again when the opportunity arises!

Amazing place for some beer, great food and friendly staff. We hiked from gmund and were looking for a place with food and drinks. Anita was the friendliest waitress and we got a table close to the water/park which is a bit quieter. I'm vegetarian anf there were a few great options and anyone who eats meat will be happy here.

A must for tourists. So it's pretty crowded. The food arrives quickly and the quality is okay. The beer is of course unbeatable !!!!

Great place to eat after a hike. Old school Bavarian place. It's quite crowded so don't expect to find a spot immediately during weekends and such.

Located directly on the Tegernsee, free parking. Great prices for good food and delicious beer or other drinks. Only with the bill, it took a while, but it was also very well attended.

Fantastic place. Amazing food, very traditional. The service was really great as well and you really can't beat the location right next to the lake. They will also allow you to switch the sides for whatever you like best. Very recommended!

Unfriendly waiters.

A beautiful lake and calm place to relax. You can hit the beach and get relax for hours, or rent a boat and surf on the lake. We also had a local cousin, schweinebraten, it's a famous Bayern's food. I suggest it in summer, otherwise you may have few things to do!

Tegernsee is my favorite beer in Bavaria. Therefore, I was highly looking forward to this visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the beer, and it was especially exciting to be able to try the dunkle. Tasty! I got some food that was a daily special, and it was pretty good. Not amazing. And I feel bad saying that about my favorite brewery. But - we're all really there for the bier, amiright?
